They worked in the framework of this book, and made it even better. WARNING: There were some hot button issues that usually can ruin a book for me, like lots of cheating and rape. I finished a day ago! This never happens. When 2:30 am rolled around, I forced myself to put it down, then picked up again at 7:00 am and didn’t stop till I finished.
I would say Deuce is like “Tack on crack” just because I like the rhyme better 🙂 I started this book at around midnight, intending to read just a few pages before bed. Michelle described it as “ Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley on crack” I have to completely agree. This was one of the best books I read this year. I should NOT have let those words put me off.
They used words like dirty, gritty, ugly and angsty. But the descriptions they had didn’t make me run to buy it. Undeniable by Madeline Sheehan was wholeheartedly recommended by 3 readers of this blog.
